Terms of Service and Sale
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This document is available in French and English only. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
These terms (the "Terms") govern the use of the Mobile FIRST browser extensions, the website www.webmobilefirst.com and the related services, as well as the sale of paid plans and mockups. They form the contract between you and the Publisher. Please read them carefully: they include the rules for using our device drawings and mockups.
1. Purpose and definitions
In these Terms:
- Publisher, "we", "us": François Duprat, Sole proprietorship (Entrepreneur individuel – EI) under French law, trading as Mobile FIRST, 93 boulevard Voltaire, 75011 Paris, France, SIREN 943537662;
- User, "you": any person who installs an Extension, visits the Site or uses the Services;
- Consumer: a User who is an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. Business: any other User, including self-employed people, freelancers and companies acting for their business;
- Extensions: the Mobile FIRST browser extensions, distributed in particular on the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons and Firefox Add-ons, and any other extension of the Publisher referring to these Terms;
- Site: the website www.webmobilefirst.com and its subdomains;
- Services: the Extensions, the Site, the account, paid plans, real-device simulation, video sharing, mockups and support;
- Mobile FIRST Content: all elements created or owned by the Publisher, in particular the vector drawings of devices (SVG files, paths, coordinates, shapes, proportions, gradients, shadows, reflections, masks and screen cut-outs), their raster exports, the mockups, the simulated interfaces (status bars, address bars, keyboards, notches), icons and icon fonts, the device database, source and object code, texts, illustrations and videos, and the Mobile FIRST name and logo;
- User Content: the websites you simulate and the screenshots, videos or files you produce or upload through the Services.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Installing an Extension, creating an account or using the Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Ordering a paid plan or a high-definition mockup also requires their express acceptance at the time of payment.
The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of your order or, failing that, of your use. They are available at any time on this page and can be saved or printed. You declare that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract or, failing that, the consent of your legal guardian.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind it, and these Terms apply to that company.
3. Description of the Services
Mobile FIRST lets you, in particular:
- display a website inside a device frame (smartphone, tablet, watch, computer, TV), reproducing its viewport, pixel density, User-Agent and touch interactions;
- take screenshots and videos, and share or convert them;
- depending on the plan, open a session on a real device or an official simulator hosted in the cloud;
- download device mockups from the Site;
- share a subscription within a team.
The content and limits of each plan (free or paid) are described on the plans page. The free version may display advertising and has usage limits.
Simulation limits. The local simulator renders the website with your browser's engine: it reproduces layout, breakpoints and touch behavior, but not the specifics of a different engine or system (for example Safari on iOS). It does not replace a final test on the real device before going live.
4. Account and devices
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date and keep your credentials confidential. Any action taken from your account is deemed to be taken by you.
An account is strictly personal: it may not be shared, lent or resold. To enforce this, an account can only be signed in on a limited number of devices (currently three). When this limit is reached, you can sign out a device, within a number of sign-outs per period shown in your account area. A Team plan gives individual access to each invited member, within the number of seats purchased; its holder is responsible for the members' use.
You can delete your account at any time by writing to us. Deletion does not entitle you to a refund of the current period, subject to the "Right of withdrawal" section.
5. License to use the Extensions
Subject to compliance with these Terms, the Publisher grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable worldwide right to use the Extensions, for the duration of your use and, for paid features, for the duration of your subscription.
This right only allows you to install and run the Extensions in your browser in order to test, present and document websites and applications, and to use the resulting screenshots and videos (see the "User Content" section). All other rights are reserved by the Publisher. The Extensions are licensed, not sold.
6. Prohibited uses
Unless the Publisher has given prior written permission, you may not, directly or through a third party, by any means:
- extract, copy, export or reuse all or part of the Mobile FIRST Content outside the normal use of the Extension, in particular the device SVG files, their paths, coordinates, shapes or embedded images, whether obtained from the Extension's installation package, the code running in the browser, developer tools, the cache, the Site or any other means;
- redraw, trace, vectorize, convert or adapt these elements (for example into Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, PNG, PSD, or CSS, SVG or JSX code), or create derivative works from them, including by altering paths, colors, scale or details, or by combining them with other elements;
- incorporate these elements, or works derived from them, into any third-party product or service, free or paid: extension, application, website, mockup generator, plugin, UI kit, device frame pack, icon library, template, theme, stock image library, marketplace or digital token;
- extract or reuse a substantial part of the device database (dimensions, pixel ratios, User-Agents, display areas, notches, specifications), or repeatedly and systematically extract insubstantial parts of it, within the meaning of Articles L. 342-1 and L. 342-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code and Directive 96/9/EC;
- use the Mobile FIRST Content to train, fine-tune, evaluate or feed an artificial intelligence system, or submit it to such a system to obtain copies, variants or imitations. The Publisher expressly reserves its rights against text and data mining of its content, within the meaning of Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and Article L. 122-5-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code;
- scrape the Site or the files of the Services using robots, scripts or automated download tools, except for indexing by search engines;
- decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate or reverse engineer the code of the Extensions or the Site, except to the extent strictly permitted by Article L. 122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code or other mandatory law;
- remove or alter the proprietary notices, metadata, watermarks or identifiers contained in the Mobile FIRST Content;
- circumvent plan limits, the number of devices, quotas or free trial conditions (multiple accounts, multiple payment methods, etc.), share your account or resell access to the Services;
- use the Services for any unlawful activity, to imitate an interface deceptively (fake screenshots of conversations, payments or notifications intended to mislead others), to infringe the rights of others, or in a way that disrupts or overloads the Services.
The fact that these elements are technically accessible once the Extension is installed or the Site is loaded does not, under any circumstances, authorize their reuse.
7. Intellectual property
The Mobile FIRST Content is the exclusive property of the Publisher, or licensed to him, and is protected by copyright, database rights, trademark law and international treaties, including the Berne Convention. Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any ownership of these elements.
The device drawings are original works of the Publisher. Where they depict third-party products, the choice of paths, the simplification of shapes, the rendering of materials, shadows and reflections, the proportions and the vector construction result from the Publisher's own creative choices. The Publisher keeps the source files and a dated version history establishing the prior existence of its works.
The device names, trademarks, logos and models mentioned belong to their respective owners and are only used to identify the simulated devices. Mobile FIRST is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by these companies.
If you send us suggestions or improvement ideas, you agree that we may use them freely, without compensation.
8. User Content
You retain all your rights in your User Content. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the websites you simulate and the content you share.
Screenshots and videos. Screenshots and videos produced with the Extension, including when they show a device frame, may be used freely, for personal or commercial purposes: presentations, client demos, documentation, social media, advertising, app store listings, bug reports. This permission covers the final image of your website inside the device, not the device frame on its own, which remains subject to the "Prohibited uses" section.
Shared videos. When you share or convert a video, you authorize us to host, convert and stream it to anyone with the link, solely to provide this service and for as long as it is shared. We may remove any video that is manifestly unlawful or reported under the "Notice of unlawful content" section.
9. Mockup license
The mockups offered on the Site are available as a free standard version and a paid high-definition version. Downloading them grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide license for the full term of the rights, on the following terms.
What you can do
- place your own screenshots, designs or visuals inside the mockup;
- use the result in an unlimited number of personal or commercial projects: websites, applications, app store listings, presentations, advertising, social media, print materials, work done for your clients;
- crop, resize, change colors or add effects for these projects;
- hand over to a client the source files of their project containing the mockup, for use in that project only;
- all without mandatory attribution or watermark.
What you cannot do
- resell, redistribute, share, sublicense or make available the mockup file itself, alone or in a bundle, modified or not, even for free;
- offer it, or a mockup derived from it, in a mockup generator, template, UI kit, plugin, theme or on a marketplace or resource platform (for example Envato, Creative Market, Figma Community, Canva, Freepik, Gumroad);
- use it as the main element of a product for sale, where the value of the product lies in the mockup itself (print on demand, phone cases, posters depicting the device, etc.);
- use it to create other device frames, include it in a logo or trademark, or claim authorship of it;
- use it in any way prohibited by the "Prohibited uses" section, in particular to train an artificial intelligence system;
- use it in a way that suggests the manufacturer of the depicted device endorses your product. Complying with that manufacturer's trademark guidelines is your responsibility.
High-definition version
The high-definition license is granted to the buyer, whether an individual or a legal entity, for their own projects and those made for their clients. It is not transferable. The price is paid once.
Any breach of this license terminates it automatically, without prejudice to the actions set out in the "Infringement" section.
10. Prices, orders and payment
The prices of paid plans and high-definition mockups are shown on the Site, in the displayed currency. For Consumers, they include all taxes, VAT being that of your country of residence. For Businesses established in the European Union outside France with a valid EU VAT number, they are invoiced exclusive of VAT, under the reverse-charge mechanism.
Payment is made by card or, where offered, by PayPal, through secure providers. For subscriptions, you authorize the automatic charge of the price at each renewal to the saved payment method. An invoice is available in your account area for each payment.
The order is final once payment is confirmed, which is confirmed by email. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features after informing you, until the situation is resolved.
We may change our prices. Any increase applicable to an ongoing subscription is notified at least 30 days before the relevant renewal date; you may then cancel before that date.
11. Free trial
Some plans may start with a free trial, whose length is shown at sign-up (currently 7 days). A payment method is required, but nothing is charged during the trial.
At the end of the trial, the subscription starts automatically and the first payment is charged, unless you cancelled the trial from your account before it ended. Cancellation is immediate and free.
The free trial is limited to one per person, per account and per payment method. Prepaid cards are not eligible. If a payment method has already been used for a trial, the subscription starts immediately, after you have been informed.
12. Term, renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions are monthly or annual, with no commitment beyond the current period, and renew automatically for the same period at each renewal date.
You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, from your account area (subscription section), or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period: you keep access to paid features until then, and no further charge is made.
For Consumers with an annual subscription, we inform you by email, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before its end, of the option not to renew it, in accordance with Article L. 215-1 of the French Consumer Code.
Changing plans during a period results in a charge or credit calculated pro rata for the remaining period.
Refunds. Without prejudice to Consumers' right of withdrawal, an annual subscription can be refunded on request within 7 days of its payment, including at renewal. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded beyond what the law provides.
13. Right of withdrawal (Consumers)
In accordance with Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, Consumers have 14 days to withdraw, without giving any reason and without incurring costs other than those set out below. This period starts when the subscription is taken out, including when it begins with a free trial.
Subscriptions. By subscribing, you request that the service start immediately. If you withdraw within the period, you are refunded the amount paid, minus an amount proportionate to the period during which the paid service was provided until your request (Article L. 221-25).
High-definition mockups. As the file is digital content supplied immediately, you expressly agree, when ordering, that its supply begins before the end of the withdrawal period, and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once it is downloaded (Article L. 221-28, 13°).
To withdraw, send us a clear statement at support@webmobilefirst.com or to 93 boulevard Voltaire, 75011 Paris, France, using the model below if you wish. The refund is made no later than 14 days after we receive your request, using the same payment method.
Model withdrawal form
To François Duprat – Mobile FIRST, 93 boulevard Voltaire, 75011 Paris, France, support@webmobilefirst.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: [plan name]
Ordered on: [date]
Name of consumer: [name]
Account email address: [email]
Date: [date]
Signature (only if this form is notified on paper)
Businesses do not have a right of withdrawal.
14. Real-device simulation
Simulation on a real device or official simulator relies on a specialized third-party provider. It is provided within the usage quotas shown in your plan; unless stated otherwise, unused quotas do not roll over. Its availability depends on this provider, and some devices or OS versions may be temporarily unavailable.
Sessions run on remote servers: do not enter sensitive data that does not belong to you. If you use a tunnel to expose a local server, you are solely responsible for it and should close it after use.
15. Availability and changes to the Services
We use reasonable efforts to keep the Services available at all times, without being able to guarantee it: interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or external events (browsers, extension stores, providers, network).
The Extensions are updated automatically by the browser stores. We may change the Services to improve or secure them, keep up with browsers and devices, or comply with the law. If a change significantly reduces an essential paid feature, affected subscribers are informed in advance and may cancel free of charge and obtain a refund of the remaining period.
16. Warranties
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and services (Articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, implementing Directive (EU) 2019/770). In the event of a lack of conformity, you can have it brought into conformity or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract. To use it, contact us at support@webmobilefirst.com.
Beyond these legal guarantees, and to the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is". We do not warrant that the simulation is identical in every respect to the real device (see "Description of the Services"), or that it will meet a particular need not described on the Site.
17. Liability
The Publisher is bound by an obligation of means (best efforts). It cannot be held liable in the event of fault by the User, the act of a third party or force majeure, nor for the content of simulated websites, which is the responsibility of their publishers.
Businesses. The Publisher is not liable for indirect damages (loss of revenue, data, customers or reputation), and its total liability, for all causes combined, is limited to the amount paid by the User during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
Consumers. These limitations do not apply to personal injury, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to legal guarantees.
You are responsible for your use of the Services and for the screenshots, videos and mockups you publish.
18. Suspension and termination for breach
In the event of a breach of these Terms, the Publisher may suspend or close the account concerned and revoke the licenses granted, after a formal notice that has remained unanswered for 8 days. No notice is required in the event of a serious breach, in particular infringement of the Publisher's intellectual property rights, fraud, account sharing or circumvention of technical limits.
In the event of termination for serious breach, the amounts paid remain due to the Publisher, without prejudice to damages. For Consumers, this clause applies within the limits set by the French Consumer Code.
19. Infringement
Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction or reuse of the Mobile FIRST Content constitutes infringement (Articles L. 335-2 et seq. and L. 343-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code, punishable by three years' imprisonment and a €300,000 fine, and the copyright laws of other countries) and may also constitute unfair competition or free-riding (parasitisme).
The Publisher systematically enforces its rights, in particular through:
- takedown requests to hosting providers, extension and app stores, marketplaces and search engines, under the French LCEN, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) and the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act;
- official reports by a judicial officer (commissaire de justice) and infringement seizures (saisie-contrefaçon);
- legal action for infringement, unfair competition and free-riding, in France and abroad, to stop the infringing acts, destroy copies and obtain compensation for the damage suffered.
If you wish to use Mobile FIRST Content beyond what these Terms allow (inclusion in a product, licensing of device drawings, access to the database), write to us at support@webmobilefirst.com: a specific license may be considered.
20. Notice of unlawful content
Anyone can report to us content hosted by the Services (for example a shared video) that they believe is unlawful, at support@webmobilefirst.com, which is our single point of contact under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. The notice must include:
- your full name and email address, or the name and representative of the legal entity;
- a description of the content and its exact location (URL);
- the reasons why it should be removed, with the relevant legal provisions;
- for copyright infringement, identification of the protected work and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf;
- a statement of good faith that the information provided is accurate.
We review each notice diligently and may remove the content or disable access to it. The author of the content is informed, with the reasons for the decision, and may contest it by writing to us at the same address. An abusive or false notice engages the liability of its author.
21. Personal data
How we process your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
22. Third-party services
The use of extension stores, browsers, payment methods and other third-party services is subject to their own terms. The Publisher is not responsible for third-party websites you simulate or to which the Services link.
23. Changes to the Terms
We may change these Terms, in particular to reflect changes in the Services or the law. The new version is published on this page with its date. For ongoing subscriptions, any substantial change is notified at least 30 days before it takes effect; if you refuse it, you may cancel before that date. Otherwise, the new version applies from your next renewal date.
24. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Consumers residing in another country also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
If you have a problem, please contact us first at support@webmobilefirst.com: most situations are quickly resolved amicably.
Consumer mediation. In accordance with Articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, if your written complaint has not been resolved, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator.
Failing an amicable settlement, disputes with a Business fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. Disputes with a Consumer fall under the courts designated by law.
25. General provisions
If any clause of these Terms is held invalid, the other clauses remain in force. The Publisher's failure to enforce a breach does not waive its right to do so later. The Publisher may assign the contract to any entity taking over the operation of the Services, provided Users are informed.
These Terms are written in French and translated into English. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
